Thank you for taking the time to read some of the rich history of Faith Baptist Church. Faith Baptist Church started as a mission out of First Baptist Church of Temple Heights, later called Temple Heights Baptist Church. J.W. Carr under the preaching of Cotton Nelms, surrendered to the call of God to preach the Gospel. After a group of 28 believers were gathered, a call to organize was made. Through the leadership of First Baptist Church of Temple Heights, FBC was organized on June 7th, 1959. As the church grew spiritually and physically they were determined to call J.W. Carr as her first pastor. Pastor Carr was ordained in November of 1959.

The church began with the 1853 New Hampshire Declaration of Faith and still to the present day holds to these precious articles of faith. In 2018, after 59 years of service, Pastor Carr retired. As he still has a deep love for the church, he helped the church pray and search for her second pastor. After much prayer, and several months of visiting preaching, Tate Pierce was voted in as Faith Baptist Church's Pastor. We pray to continue in service to The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His blessed return.
